GQEP signed MOA for Scholarships for AFP dependents

On March 29, 2011 at 4:00 in the afternoon, a signing of the Memorandum of Agreement was held at Daza Park, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City among three education institutions namely; The AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO), Informatics College of Quezon City, Inc and Global Quality Education Providers Inc (GQEP). The said institutions agreed to establish an educational benefit program geared towards uplifting the lives of AFP members and their dependents.

The event started at 4:00 in the afternoon and attended by Informatics President, Mr. Daniel Ongchoco, GQEP President and CEO, Engr. Ines Basaen and AFPEBS Board of Trustees Acting Chairman, MGEN Emmanuel Bautista. The AFPEBSO officers and staff were also present with Chief/General Manager, Col. Alexander V. Ambal, who supervised the event.

The partnership provides half to full scholarship grants to military personnel and their dependents through Informatics College Quezon City, Inc (Informatics Diliman). The Global Quality Education Providers Inc. committed to provide all the course materials for the grantees of this program while AFPEBSO will screen and recommend interested applicants subject to the approval of Informatics Diliman. The agreement of these three parties will took effect immediately after the signing.
